Here are the photos I have taken so far to develop my project further. I decided to bake a Christmas Cake instead of biscuits as it communicated Christmas better not only to me personally, but also to the general public. It also gave me the opportunity to be excessive in the decoration of it and really embellish the whole 'over-eating' aspect of Christmas that I want to communicate. I am only going to use 12 photos in my final card to represent the 12 Days of Christmas. These will be presented in a recipe tine, much like one I have at home and also to add the the nostalgic and home made element that a lot of people relate with Christmas. The cake steadily being consumed is to illustrate the consumerist aspect of Christmas that is far to readily accepted as part of it now, and also the constant over eating that everyone undoubtedly does, but what are we left with?
